Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough History Forum

Dungannon-History

Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough History Forum was formed in 2007 to commemorate a significant event in the area’s history, the Flight of the Earls.  Local historical groups from across the borough came together to develop a programme of activities which commemorated the important historical events of 1607.

Members of the History Forum have continued to meet on a monthly basis to discuss ways in which local heritage can be developed and shared, disseminate  information on local group activities, and timetable Forum events, conferences and presentations which all local groups and individuals can attend.
